The Waverley adjoins the Holyrood Suite and can be used either as a syndicate room or for pre-dinner drinks. Princes The Princes Suite faces directly onto one of Europe's most famous thoroughfares, Princes Street. Natural daylight is provided by the vast windows, which stretch two sides of the room. A magnificent fireplace along with original chandeliers and beautiful cornicing provide a regal setting, suitable for a variety of occasions, including 120 guests for cocktails and 60 people theatre-style. The Second Floor of The Balmoral offers six stunning banqueting rooms, which all face Edinburgh Castle. The Merchants’ Hall is the head-quarters of one of Edinburgh’s oldest and most prestigious business organisations – The Company of Merchants of the City of Edinburgh, thus ensuring the building is well maintained and is in secure hands. Until recently it was used exclusively by The Company’s Members, but now is available to be enjoyed by all on a private basis.
