Originally built around 1882 The Caledonian Hotel is situated in the centre of Oban, amid spectacular Scottish surroundings. The hotel has three excellent spaces for business meetings and conferences. The largest is the Caledonian Suite, catering for up to 120 people, theatre style; this suite can also be arranged boardroom, U-shape or classroom style. The Boardroom holds up to 12 people, depending on layout, whilst The Meeting Room accommodates up to 10. We recognise that no two events are the same, but the dedication and commitment of our experienced staff will ensure you won't have to worry about a thing as we help you plan your event right down to the very last detail. Although we have a range of rooms full of character, each meeting and event room has the same features: - High-speed internet access - Flip Chart and pens - Stationery box - Speaker phone - Data projector We even have our own preferred suppliers for all Audio Visual requirements, including set design and sound systems. Before you arrive, all equipment in the room is checked with each room set up and available 30 minutes before your meeting or event. When you arrive at the hotel, your dedicated member of staff - available all day long - will meet you to run through all the details. They'll confirm what's been booked and organise any last minute changes or additional requirements. Then it's the simple things like agreeing the preferred method of communicating of any messages on the day. The nearest train station is Oban, which is just 1/2 a mile away.
