An inviting hotel, built in Tudor fashion in 1882, the Best Western Popinjay Hotel is positioned 4 miles off the M74 England- Scotland main motorway, on the A72 Hamilton-Lanark Road in the heart of the famous scenic Clyde Valley.

Set in 8 acres of private grounds with beautiful picturesque gardens reaching to the banks of the famous River Clyde, where the Popinjay enjoys its fishing rights. The Popinjay has two main function rooms, seating a total of 350 persons theatre style, both offering natural daylight. We offer daily, 24 hour, half day and full day hire depending on your requirements.
