    IoD hub Birmingham is located at One Victoria Square, in an impressive modern building that provides you with outstanding business facilities situated in the heart of the commercial district of Birmingham. The Directors' Room on the ground floor provides members with a free venue for small meetings with up to 3 guests. The room is fitted with power points for lap-top computers and electrical plugs to charge mobile phones. In the Directors' Room there are also self-contained computer stations which are fitted with the latest business computer software enabling members to log onto the internet, check e-mails or simply work on documents from disk while away from the office. In addition to the free meeting space, you can book private meeting rooms on a daily or half-daily basis. IoD hubs also offer fully functional serviced office space. These offices are available to hire on a short or long-term basis, in partnership with Stonemartin plc, with discounts offered to IoD members.

    The National Resource Centre can be used in a multitude of ways as we have the scope to make our rooms as versatile as possible. The main area on Floor 4 of the venue can host 160 people in one sitting in many different set ups this space can also be broken down with our soundproof walls between rooms into each room taking between 15-60 delegates depending on layout. We also have 4 smaller meetings rooms that are suitable for between 8-15 delegates. There is a 5th floor facility that can hold 50 people in various layouts with AV, flip chart, tea and coffee making facilities. All of our rooms have Audio visual either through smart screen TV in our main areas or projectors in our smaller rooms. With the option to record and film your meetings, lectures and also provide roaming mics, lectern mics and lapel mics. There is also flip chart paper and pens in every room. We also have super-fast broadband across the whole of the building, the use of Skype and go to meeting, conference calls

    Beacon View Conference Centre is a select new facility for conferences, training or other events, situated in the heart of the West Midlands. It forms an integral part of Beacon Centre for the Blind, the home of one of the oldest local charities serving the needs of people with a visual impairment. The facilities are modern, attractive and ideally suited for relaxed events of all types. The venue can be split into 2 separate rooms [Beacon View I and II], or opened out for larger events of 90-100 people. Each room comes equipped with full A/V facilities, free Wi-Fi, Hearing Loop and office support services. Disabled facilities are excellent and ample free car parking is available on site. Your catering requirements are met from the award winning Court Restaurant located within the complex. Beacon View is located midway between the city of Wolverhampton and Dudley, both forming a large part of the historic area known as the Black Country. Road, Rail and Air connections are excellent with junctions for M6 at Walsall and M5 at Oldbury each being around 6 miles away. Inter-City connections call at Wolverhampton Station on the West Coast Main Line, less than 3 miles away. Birmingham Airport is only 25 miles by car and the venue is well served by excellent local bus services between Dudley and Wolverhampton. A big added attraction for those using the venue is that bookings can form part of their charitable aims and support their corporate social responsibility. Proceeds from conference business are used to help deliver the services and facilities provided by Beacon Centre for the 3000+ people supported in the local community.
