Bolton Castle is a spectacular mediaeval fortress, preserved in outstanding condition and situated in the heart of Wensleydale, inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The Castle is open from the weekend before Easter until the end of October and is available for private hire throughout the year. We have Civil Wedding, Drinks and Entertainment licenses. Bolton is an ideal location for both film and photographic shoots and there are also filming opportunities on the rest of the estate.
