The venue also hosts the week-long Canary Wharf Squash Classic tournament as well as Canary Wharf's acclaimed Motor Expo in June which also exhibits within the East Wintergarden, using the truss to fly objects in the high ceiling space. This modern and stylish venue, designed by Cesar Pelli and based on the Wintergardens in New York, boasts 682sq metres of coloured marble floor and steamed beech wood wall panelling, comfortably accommodates 500 for banqueting and 800-1000 for receptions. The main feature of the venue is the impressive arched glass atrium, which measures 27m at its highest point. The gallery, spanning the full width of the venue overlooks Jubilee Park and the waterfront promenade of Heron Quay, is also available to hire for smaller functions of up to 250 guests and provides additional space for reception drinks, lounge bar or a games area. Adjacent to the entrance to the Jubilee Line Station and a short walk from Canary Wharf and Heron Quays DLR stations, the East Wintergarden is less than 15 minutes from the City, the West End and London City Airport, making it the ideal venue for any London and South East based organisations.

    A masterpiece of modern design, it dramatically shows the glamour and allure of 1930's style. Restored by English Heritage, Eltham Palace captures wonderfully the elegant lifestyle of its creators - Stephen and Virginia Courtauld and is a great place for conferences and meetings. In 1933 the site was leased to Stephen Courtauld, who constructed a modern house incorporating the Great Hall. The house was lavishly decorated in a variety of styles, reflecting the influence of Art Deco and contemporary ocean liners, as well as incorporating historical and classical motifs. From the fourteenth to the sixteenth centuries Eltham Palace was an important royal palace, a favoured resistance where successive monarchs spent Christmas and hunted in the surrounding parks. Edward IV built the magnificent Great Hall, which survives today, with its soaring hammerbeam roof and oriel windows. The grounds at Eltham Palace have a fascinating story to tell about the sites past inhabitants. Visitors are invited to explore the mix of medieval and modern design features, which typify this entire site. From the medieval remains of Queen Isabella's apartments (c.1315) to the Courtaulds' exotic rock garden, the grounds host a rich tapestry of design, which has evolved to the present day. English Heritage is undertaking ongoing restoration work to return the gardens to their 1930's splendor.

    Royal Museums Greenwich is proud to offer the historic Queen’s House as a beautiful setting for daytime events. Located at the heart of the celebrated UNESCO World Heritage Site in Greenwich, The Queen’s House is the earliest example in England of classical architecture and one of Inigo Jones’ few surviving major works. The house was commissioned by Queen Anne of Denmark in 1616 and is situated at the foot of Greenwich Royal Park with a commanding view over the Thames and Canary Wharf. To mark its 400th year anniversary the house is undergoing an incredible restoration project to return the house to its former Baroque splendour. During the day, this formal royal villa, boasts a beautiful suite of rooms for hire, facing the internationally renowned Royal Observatory Greenwich. On Wednesday and Thursday the spaces used for day time events for up to 50 guests consist of the South East and South West Parlours plus two small cabinet rooms, which are ideal as breakout spaces. Also within this space is the Orangery where lunches and refreshments can be served. On Fridays and Saturdays the whole house is available for daytime hire for events up to 120 guests. The main entertaining space is the Great Hall which retains the original black and white marble tiles and is a truly iconic display of British Palladian grandeur.
