Carnatic House is the “nerve centre” for the entire complex for it is here that the centralised catering and other services are to be found. All conferences at Carnatic have their meals in Carnatic House. The restaurant on the upper level can seat up to 500 and is serviced from state-of-the-art kitchens. A “moat”, complete with friendly resident ducks, runs along the entire frontage of the building. From the restaurant and hotel-style bar, there are sweeping views across green and pleasant parkland to the River Mersey and beyond. The Herculaneum Room is most impressive, with flexibility its key strength. Meetings and conferences for up to 550 delegates (the room can be divided for small gatherings), banquets for up to 320 and dances... this attractive function room, which has it's own bar, can be adapted to virtually whatever use you wish. Its large size, three-phase power supply and no less than 56 powerpoints, make it ideal as an exhibition venue.
