    At the University of Bath conference delegates benefit from a beautiful city and stunning countryside on the doorstep whilst retaining the focus and concentration offered by a campus. Lecture theatres and syndicate rooms offer purpose built facilities with excellent audio-visual support available. Year round we can cater for meetings of up to 56 theatre style and up to 18 classroom and boardroom style. During vacation time conferences of up to 386 theatre style, 126 classroom and 60 boardroom can be accommodated. Our dedicated sales and events team understand how important and unique each event is, and aim to provide a first class service from the initial contact right through to the conference itself providing pre event support and on the day coordination. Throughout the event constant contact is maintained with the organiser to answer any questions that may arise and to ensure everything runs according to plan. Delegates can also benefits from our on site accommodation. We have a range of accommodation to suit all budgets including, single, twin and double en-suite rooms. In 2009 over 350 new state of the art bedrooms will be available. Conference dinners for up to 280 can be hosted in our modern Claverton Rooms. For a more intimate and elegant venue, up to 80 guests can dine in our newly refurbished Wessex restaurant. In addition excellent sporting facilities are available in our renowned Sports Training Village. We are ideally located just 1.9 miles from the city centre, 2 miles from Bath Spa train station and 10.7 miles from the M4. There is ample car parking and frequent shuttle buses to the city centre.

The School of Management with outstanding glass Atrium and Harvard-style meeting rooms is perfect for smaller events or exhibitions. The main dining space, the Core, is ideal for buffet lunches, or gala dinners for up to 260. We also have a number of other, smaller spaces available for hire, perfect for events of all sizes. During summer, delegates can stay on site in en-suite accommodation with access to an array of campus facilities.

    The College has six main function rooms, available for conferences, day meetings and other functions. Audiovisual and other equipment is available as required. In the College Hall, the imposing portraits of four of the Victorian founders of the College combine with six lofty south-facing windows to create a grand yet welcoming atmosphere for dinners and receptions. Sidgwick Hall, the Barbara White Room and the Jane Harrison Room are versatile function rooms. The Philippa Fawcett Room is suitable for smaller meetings or can even be a conference office. The Lucia Windsor Room, equipped with state of the art AV equipment and an air conditioning system, is a versatile space that can be divided into two separate meeting rooms. There is also a large foyer outside which can be used for refreshments and as a registration area. The Old Labs can be used as a function room but is mainly used for performing arts including concerts. It occupies a charming building in the grounds, whose first purpose was as a chemical laboratory. In addition to the main auditorium with its sound and lighting facilities, including front projection for video and Powerpoint, there are two practice rooms and a green room. In the lobby is a display of the building's history which invariably attracts the attention of visitors.
