    Hinchingbrooke house is a Tudor country house built around an early 13th century nunnery. It was given by Henry VIII to Richard Cromwell in 1538 at the time of the Dissolution. Queen Elizabeth I came here, King James I was a regular visitor and Oliver Cromwell played here as a child. The next owners, the Montagu family, soon to become the Earls of Sandwich, also played an important part in British history and the House remained their ancestral home the 1960's Hinchingbrooke with its beautiful setting, makes the perfect venue for meetings and seminars, offering a choice of rooms for both the small business meeting or larger conference. The Ground Floor of the House is utilised for up to 120 delegates. Rooms are available to hire during the day, evening and School holidays.

All of our rooms have a blackout facility, and both our main function rooms are fully air conditioned. Our larger rooms have facilities for the lights to be dimmed, conference equipment such as Flipcharts, Overhead projectors, White and Black Boards and Carousel Projector are all available - for which no charge is made. Other equipment, including Television and Video, Video Cameras etc., may be hired by arrangement - for which there is a small charge. Please check when booking. All our main rooms are hard wired for audio and visual interchange between rooms. This means that you can be using a video camera in one room and watch live playback in another. Meeting tables are normally laid up with pencils, papers, mints, iced-water and cordials. Fax machine and photocopying facilities are available, and we can arrange for secretarial and translation services if required. We offer an extensive selection of menus to complement all types of event. If time is limited, we offer a hot or cold buffet as an alternative to our function menus at lunchtime. Alternatively you may wish to order from our or A La Carte restaurant menu.
