Overlooking the Millennium Square, this building accommodates the Lord Mayor, City Treasurer and City Council. It was officially opened in 1933 by the ruling monarch of the time, King George V. The exterior features two giant gilded owls (an established symbol of Leeds) and roman columns at the entrance.
