    Plas Dolerw is a 19th century country house set in beautiful wooded grounds overlooking the River Severn. Situated on the outskirts of the Welsh market town of Newtown, Plas Dolerw has been refurbished to create a modern conference and local community facility. Plas Dolerw can be hired for lectures, conferences, training events, seminars and workshops, business meetings, exhibitions and receptions. All conference services are up-to-date, but many original features throughout the building have been retained to give a restful atmosphere. The unique conference centre is ideal for charities and voluntary organisations, who benefit from reduced charges, and commercial organisations who will appreciate the latest facilities in a unique period setting. Wheelchair user access is provided to all public areas. Disabled toilet facilities have also been designed with assistance alarms. There is a loop system for hearing aid users.

    St Mary's Priory Centre was opened in 2000 by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales. Since then, the Priory Centre has built its reputation as being one of Abergavenny's leading venues for conferences, weddings and other functions. Furthermore, the Priory Centre is used on a regular basis by Church members for social events, dances, music groups and yoga classes. Set in the rural county of Monmouthshire, the Priory Centre is easily accessible via road or train. The main hall accommodates 120 people and boasts PA system and audio-visual equipment. The mezzanine offers a panoramic view of the hall as well as a seating area for smaller groups. Located in the original part of the Priory is the Choir Room which can be used for more initmate groups. The Priory Church of St Mary's can be accessed from the Priory Centre should you want time for quiet contemplation. Whether it is a light buffet or a 4-course dinner, our catering manager will be happy to discuss your own personal menu requirements. Our food is locally sourced and served to the highest standard. We aim to make your life easier when organising an event at the Priory Centre and understand that each group of people have different requirements.

    The Ty Newydd Country Hotel is set at the end of a lengthy drive off the A4059 on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The house was originally built by the coal baron, William Llewellyn, the uncle of Olympic show jumping gold medalist Sir Harry Llewellyn, who trained his horse Foxhunter here. The detached property was constructed in the 1930's as a private house. The main building is of neo-Georgian style with rendered elevations under slate covered roofs and is arranged over two floors. The bedroom wings and function rooms were added in 1989 and 1991 and more recently conservatory extensions have also been added to side and rear of the building. The Ty Newydd is now a busy country hotel, and is particularly popular as a quality choice for weddings hosting, on average, 100 weddings per year.
