Clyde-built in 1896 and named the ‘Glenlee’, The Tall Ship took to the waves as a cargo ship, circumnavigating the world four times. Sold to the Spanish Government in 1922, she became a training vessel for their Navy. By 1980, the Glenlee lay in dry dock in a Spanish quay.
