Believed to date from around 1220 AD, it is surmounted by a magnificent stone carved fire mantle and is of similar construction to a fireplace at Old Sarum, the site of the original Cathedral. Please be aware that due to The Red Lion Hotel being a City Centre Hotel, we are restricted with car parking spaces. We have only 3 available that are reserved for disabled badge holders, however extra parking is available at the back of the Hotel on Brown Street which is covered by CCTV and Floodlights. The car park is however pay and display between the hours of 8am to 6pm and free between 6pm and 8am.
