    The Sapphire Conference & Banqueting Suite, opened by the Rt Hon. Clare Short MP, Secretary of State for International Development in 2003, is one of the Midland’s finest and prestigious venues, making it the perfect choice for every type of occasion. Ideally located and conveniently situated from the city centre and within easy reach of the main motorways and rail networks, Sapphire offers a combination of a central location, extensive, free car parking, excellent service and multicultural cuisine with the flexibility to accommodate all types of events. Sapphire has two purpose built suites that each offer complete privacy. The grand Amethyst Suite, located on the first floor is tastefully designed to provide dining facilities for up to 550 guests. The elegant and modern Ruby Suite, located on the ground floor has a seating capacity for up to 400 guests. Both suites have a large stage and dance floor area equipped with the latest state of the art lighting and a fully licensed bar available until 2am. We are also licensed by the Birmingham Registry office for civil ceremonies and further information can be obtained from our marriage representative.     The National Resource Centre can be used in a multitude of ways as we have the scope to make our rooms as versatile as possible. The main area on Floor 4 of the venue can host 160 people in one sitting in many different set ups this space can also be broken down with our soundproof walls between rooms into each room taking between 15-60 delegates depending on layout. We also have 4 smaller meetings rooms that are suitable for between 8-15 delegates. There is a 5th floor facility that can hold 50 people in various layouts with AV, flip chart, tea and coffee making facilities. All of our rooms have Audio visual either through smart screen TV in our main areas or projectors in our smaller rooms. With the option to record and film your meetings, lectures and also provide roaming mics, lectern mics and lapel mics. There is also flip chart paper and pens in every room. We also have super-fast broadband across the whole of the building, the use of Skype and go to meeting, conference calls

    Situated only three miles from the City centre, the golf club is very conveniently located. The Club has substantial car parking, and there is a separate entrance to the Function Room which has a large vestibule, with en-suite toilets, and a ladies powder room at first floor level. The tastefully decorated main Function Room can seat up to 100 guests for large seminars and conferences, and for smaller events a private room with sliding screens can be set up for groups of around 16. Board rooms tables, flip charts and projector can be provided. For those Special family events the main Function can accommodate up 140 guests, served by a large function bar which also provides waiter service. The Function Room is enhanced by full height glazing which allow panoramic views across the golf course that faces south-west. In the warmer weather, your guests can enjoy drinks on the terrace in the sunshine, which also offer delightful photographic opportunities to record your event.
