    The Faversham is a large pub and bar situated on the fringe of the city centre behind Leeds University. We are a friendly and welcoming establishment, where the emphasis is on relaxed drinking in a friendly envirmonment. The Faversham is available for private hire. Our highly experienced team can cater for any type of event that you may be holding, big or small. Examples include business events, weddings, product launches, christmas parties and more. We have a newly refurbished Conservatory and adjoining lounge that are large enough to hold almost any type of private party or event that you would like to arrange. With plenty of parking directly outside the Faversham and a wide range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available, the Faversham is the perfect place for any type of party or event. The rooms available to hire have a capacity suitable to hold any event from 50 to 300 people. In terms of entertainment, you are welcome to supply your own DJs or entertainers, alternatively we can help arrange these for you. We can also pipe music through from our DJs in the main pub, while we also have a great sound system and equipment set up that would allow you to have a range of more adventurous options such as a comedy night or a live band.

So as well as looking after the smaller meetings the rooms can now open up to use the whole of the ancient stone barn: this provides seating for approximately 80 for dinner on round tables or around 100 theater style. All the rooms have lots of natural daylight from their large patio doors which give access to the terrace looking out onto the Vale of York. This idyllic countryside position offers a peaceful setting for any corporate activity.
