    Wakefield Cathedral has four spaces for hire, accommodating groups sizes up to 600 people, from the boardroom style to the mediaeval splendour of the Cathedral nave. For groups who have members with special needs or Disabled Peoples' Organisations who may be considering hiring the facilities, currently the Cathedral Nave, Treacy Hall and the Education Centre are fully accessible at ground floor level. The Eastwood Room is only accessible via a staircase. There is a fully accessible toilet in the corridor between Treacy Hall and the Cathedral. The Education Centre has accessible toilet facilities on the ground floor. However, we are constantly looking at how we can improve the accessibility of our buildings and facilities to make them available for all. There is a 'loop system' for people who have a hearing impairment and a PA system and power supply for 'powerpoint' or audio presentations.

    It's been a bathhouse, a school, zoological gardens and home for tropical plants but today the Orangery is a unique and high quality conference venue. Built around 1800, the Orangery is a fantastic grade II* listed heritage site in the centre of Wakefield. Adjacent to Westgate railway station, with on site parking and within easy reach of the M1 and M62, the Orangery has excellent transport links. Two rooms plus break out space are available with the capacity to hold up to 70 people. An extensive range of equipment is also offered for hire, with facilities for digital projection. A range of cold buffets are offered to delegates. And if you fancy something a bit different for your social event or wedding reception - then The Orangery may be just what you're looking for! Within this distinctive venue there is opportunity to visit the Beam Gallery. The historic grounds of the Orangery, with its trees and monuments, are also available for breaks and break-outs in fine weather.

    Aversion Risk Management Services Limited are a leading provider of health, safety and environmental services, including the provision of accredited and bespoke training to a variety of industries and clients, including construction, retail and transport sectors. Aversion also offer excellent training and meeting room facilities to hire at their new offices, ideally located next to the M62/M621 Junction 27 in Leeds and just two junctions from the M1/M62 interchange. There are four meeting rooms available for hire with business facilities in a location easy to access if travelling by car or public transport. There is ample dedicated parking for most occasions, with allocated disabled parking and easy access. The meeting rooms are located on the first floor which can be accessed by lift; the facilities have dedicated kitchen and washroom facilities. Aversion are able to provide free Wi-Fi broadband which is ideal for companies who want to run training courses that are internet based or need to link to web based applications.

    Situated within the beautiful surroundings of the Wharfe Valley, one of Ilkley's oldest buildings, the Manor House, has been converted into an attractive museum and art gallery. On the ground floor visitors are given a glimpse into Ilkley's past while the first floor galleries provide the venue for a regularly changing programme of temporary exhibitions. While being a major exhibit in itself, the Manor House also stands on the remains of the Roman fort of Olicana. Only a short section of defensive wall remains exposed at the back of the building, but Roman artefacts from the fort and surrounding area are on permanent display inside the Manor House, together with prehistoric artefacts and information about the development of Ilkley as a Victorian spa town.
